Game Plan
I played golf with a real PGA golf professional one afternoon. He was unbelievable. He told me that you need to have a game plan to succeed at the game. Your head has to be totally involved with this plan. Your focus is not on your game but on handling distractions. Your game is your ability to do the job, to trust everything you have learned. Most people fail because they’re are caught up in all the mistakes they make, instead of staying with their plan. The problem is that most people do not have a game plan. They get out there and try to wing it. they start out with the intentions of being fantastic and how well they know they can do, but that first drive into the rough immediately takes there focus on how bad that was and how bad it’s going to be the rest of the way. He said that he’s played with people that have tremendous abilities but can’t get out of their own way. We played for only nine holes but I will take more than watching him hit some amazing shots. I will take life lessons on how to take this advice and apply it to my life in general.
