As we enter another holiday season, I can feel a real sense of amazement watching my kids do the same exact things I had done when I was their age. It makes me think if my dad acted the same way and if his father and so on. It reminds me of some show I watched about the Mayan people. Their traditions were past down from generation to generation. It makes me think if we are born with these traditions or senses like the birds that migrate South for the winter or life on the Serengeti . if this is true, what else can be past down or what else were we born with?
We were born from a tiny cell into a living being we must have been born with an imprint of data stored somewhere in our brains to give us knowledge, advice, and warnings.
When danger is present in our lives you can feel changes in our bodies, a sense of fear consumes every thought in our consciousness. This was a tool that early man needed. Today, we use it more as an excuse to avoid doing things we don’t want to do.
Often, I ask myself what should I do in situations that I have no idea what I should do. Somehow the answers pop into my head like some kind of genius. I am amazed every time. I am far from a genius more like a nut case; I guess that is why I ask myself questions. I find that I can figure out problems or find solutions just by asking myself. Somehow it comes to me or someone is put into my path that can help me.
The biggest resource that we are given is the knowledge that is past down to us from birth. Right now, at the age of 38, I can feel mass amounts of knowledge opening up inside my head. If we are all the same and we were all made in the image of God, we should have the ability to have knowledge that would make our lives exactly the way we want them.
